Hi guys. Just bought an 07 A4, 2.0. The engine light is on with the above code. When I try to accelerate, it starts to get boost, then completely falls on it's face. When the boost goes away, I can hear like a rubbing or grinding sound coming from the turbo. If the turbo had too much carbon buildup, bad bearings, etc, it seems like the code would be for underboost, not overboost. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

 

That is helpful, thank you. With carbon buildup, can I do a rebuild? I've seen several kits for the K03.
