Who would win a 2008 audi 2.0t s-line Quattro with paddle shift with 80,000 miles, or a 2007 mustang v6 base model with a 5 speed manual?

The Audi! You are drag racing on a snow covered street right?

I would say the Mustang would probably beat you off the line and climb to about 50-60 pretty quickly due to the manual transmission, but the A4 would have him after that. Those V6's have a good bit of torque (especially with a 5-speed), but I don't think the top-end is any match for the Audi. These engines were made to do 100mph. My V6 'stang always felt like it was not happy at that speed.

I wasn't trying to be a smart ***, there's just one simple solution to the question. But if you want my opinion, I think the mustang wins in 1/8th mile and the Audi pulls past by the 1/4 mile showing nothing but tail lights from there on. What's the speed limiter set at on these cars 120 mph?

hmmm that's disheartening, I had a good straight stretch one sunny drive with no cars so I punched it and it got to 126, stuttered, then dropped to 120 and I had to slow for the curve so I figured I hit the limiter...maybe the car malfunctioned?
