Default Stock remote to remote start?

I saw a video on YouTube where some guy used his stock remote for his Audi, same as mine (2006 A4 2.0t Quattro), and held his unlock button to make his windows go down, and held lock to make them go up. I was wondering how he did this? I asked him but he never responded, and was also wondering if it's possible to remote start my audi using the same method as him.

The key fob up/down is built into the B7, but is turned off for the North American market. Not sure why. It's possible the pinch sensors don't work when you have the car off. It will also close the sunroof (but won't open it).

You can enable it with a USB-VAGCOM cable and software, but it's not just flipping a switch. You have to set new codes in the computer and most of them are calculated. There was a really long thread on Audizine about it, but I don't know if it's still there or not. Here's a PDF I copied from there a while back:

You can also do a few other nice things. I think I made all my doors unlock with the first keypress on the fob, turned off the amber corner lights when the headlights are on, and toned down the annoying seat belt chime.

As for remote start, I'm not sure you can do that with the stock key fob. Might have to do an aftermarket. It's kind of pricey since you have to get a whole new key properly coded for the car to put in the remote start box.
