Got a recent problem now that it's cold outside. My driver's side folding mirror on one side unfolds and points forwards. When the air temp warms up I can fold the mirrors back in and unfold it to the correct position.


So when it is cold, can I force the mirror my hand to the correct position or will this cause damage to the motor/mechanism?


What is likely to be the problem here, and is it easy to fix?
