I just had new shoes wrapped on my A4 this morning. I went with Nokian WRG3 tires 245/40R/18.


Total cost including mounting, balancing alignment etc was $1307. They look great and the ride is smooth.


Anyone else put new tires on recently? What'd you go with and how much did it cost?

I bought a used A4 that had snows on it and the vendor agreed to put some used 4 seasons on the car before delivery. Much to my surprise I got a set of Pirelli P-Zero Nero worn about 40%. A set of 245/40-18 is listed at $296/ea but they certainly are worth it for the ride I'm getting. I've driven through heavy rain and felt no aquaplaning and in the dry they're as smooth as silk. The car feels very well planted and not much road-noise.
