Faulty Wheel Bearings within 100 miles?
I recently purchased a new 2017 Audi A4 Premium. Within 100 miles of brand new, I noticed that a whining noise was coming from the steering column. It was most noticeable over the speeds of 45mph. Needless to say, I immediately took it back for diagnostics. The Senior Tech and I took a ride, he immediately confirmed something was wrong. First repair attempt was to replace the driver's side front wheel bearings. I got the car back, seemed better. Within 2 days the noise returned. I took the car back. They now decided to replace the passenger's side front wheel bearings. I will be picking up the car sometime tomorrow.
Obvious to me from Day 1, there is something defective with this car. Luck of the draw has it that I ended up with a bad copy. I have been in touch with corporate and asked that they strongly consider giving me a new car. Needless to say, they want to follow protocol and attempt to fix this problem. Unfortunately, my only play at this point is to go through the pain of due diligence. I know my rights as a new car buyer and will exercise them accordingly.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
