94 cabriolet will turn over but not ignite
Hey guys! Need your help desperately! I have had trouble starting my 1994 cabriolet recently. sometimes it will start if I pump the accelerator. No one here has the machine to read the codes for the problem. One mechanic said the spark plug wires were not sending a spark to the plugs. so no ignition. I was told it may be the camshaft sensor that will not allow
the car to ignite. Any one have some advice? Thanks for your feedback!

I replied to your other post but I'll add a few things here. If any of the sensors that help the ECU determine the timing (crankshaft, flywheel, and cams) is not working, the car will probably not fire. The ECU simply has no way of knowing WHEN to tell the spark plugs to fire. I think your car has individual coils for each cylinder but still the same principle applies.
Try the ignition module replacement first.
Oh, and something else I just thought of. If your car has one, check the relay for the ECU. When you turn on the ignition, you should feel it click as it engages.
HTH,
