Default 94 Quattro mod questions

Hi,

I was wondering if I can put a 4.2 liter V8 engine into B4 quattro competition.. What do you think? What other modifications should I make? I know I have to change the gear box... What will be the mpg estimate? Also what other modifications can I make other than installing a turbo or supercharger? I am in Turkey so please dont give links since it wont make any good for me .. If you can give ideas it would be great, I will make some research here in my city for the options.. (Of course if I cannot find a 4.2 liter engine ) The reason I thought of 4.2 liter is for the drag races and to eat some street machines

that or SC
SC would be more reasonable and yes V8 will fit with minor modification, but the weight ratio will be very off.

cryon and SC will give best results

the end result of turbo and SC would be the same. 300HP
but the advantage of SC is the boost below. It increases power almost all the way from the bottom up. while turbo just gives you nice boost like at 3500 and up.

the SC would be chaper that turbo on V6.

PS I'm making one and will sell kits and stuff.

hmmm looks great and I definitely wanted to buy it but my car has a 2.0 liter 140 HP 4 cylinder engine. I am thinking about the supercharger for the reason you wrote. For my engine what would be the result? In addition, what is the drawback of supercharger than turbocharger?

PS: I live in Turkey, can you send it to here?

only one problem I'm making it for the V6.
your engine would be best with a turbo becouse it makes better economy.

but you could use M45 for the cheapest and M62 if you would like to have more boost.
the main diference in turbo VS SC is that SC needes to take some power to work while turbo uses "Free power"
if you like more power in the range of lower RPM the SC would work cool. but turbo will provide a bit more performence at higher RPM and less at lower RPM. while a SC will make it feel like a V6. and turbo will make it feel a bit diferent like weak then power.
