Default Audi 90s washer pump

Hi Guys

I have a 1994 Audio 90s and the windshield washer fluid reservoir leaks when I pour water in it. The washer pump doesn't work either and probably needs replacing. How do I get to the washer pump? Is it in the bottom of the reservior? I probably have to take the inside fender well out right?

Thanks

S

I don't know about the 94 90 but the pump is at the bottom of the reservoir. Why not se eif you can get a used reservoir with pump from a junk yard. Used Audi stuff is available from Shokan in PA and Force Five in Concord NH

Default Water pump

I have a100 87 year. I had problem once with my washer system. I thought pump didnt work, no sound, no anything. Like dropped dead. When I checked, it was run out of water, so I pour a mixture of water and cleaning solution but it didnt work again. Then I took a needle and put it into the nozzles on the hood for I supposed that pump somehow sucked in "mud" from the reservoire and thus blocked the nozzles. I was right. After I cleaned the nozzles it was working perfectly. Try that. Maybe somewhere something is blocking way out for the water so the pressure is released somewhere else.
