Default Clutch pedal stuck half down

the clutch on my 4000CS is stuck HALFway down to the floor, like the rod is just in to far, but all adjustments, brackets, lines and fluid levels are good. What could cuase it to do that.. it cant just be pulled back out, its like its adjusted that far in and solid feeling like facotry set... just kinda gotten lower and lower... What the hell could cause this and what do i look for? Braking apeears to be perfect still so id think the cylinders are just fine. Everything looks normal all the way to the bell housing.
