Default Fuel Injector Clips

I am trying to insert the fuel injectors into the fuel rail and clip them in on my '95 Cabriolet. Have not been able to push them in far enough for the clip to seat properly. Is it just brute force or are there any tricks or techniques to get it done.

Thanks much!

Solved.

Although I have done a lot of mechanical work on cars over the past 4 decades (included 2 engine rebuilds, 68 volvo and an 81 peugeot diesel), i have not handled electronic fuel injectors and fuel rails much. The problem that I was having was that the o-rings were in the fuel rail and i was trying to push the injector against it. I should have, but didn't realize that those rubber things in the fuel rail were o-rings. Once i pulled them out and slid them into position on the injectors it fell together nicely.
