I ordered the wrong fuel pump online (this to be exact AIRTEX E8551M http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTQzMVgxNTAw/z/EG8AAOSw7aBVHchE/$_12.JPG?set_id=880000500F)
and had it installed at a repair shop. Later learned that the pump was supposed to have a third tube and wire to connect to the
fuel tank sender on the other side of the tank.

Unfortunately now I cannot make a refund on this item. I am wondering if anyone knows of a way for me to tweak the inside-of-the-tank into sending fuel from one side of the tank to the other and get the correct reading of how much fuel there is on the tank. If not let me know whether I need to buy a new fuel pump. Another question is if there was a way to tweak it would the car function properly.
