Chip For 2000 a4 1.8T
Hey was thinking about getting a chip for my 2000 a4 1.8T and wondered if anyone had any suggestions on what type to get or not to get. Also I am decently handy with cars but have never really messed around with the computer stuff, how difficult is it to install a chip yourself?
Any help would be awesome thanks!

i have a chip by APR... it came with the car... and i believe you HAVE to take your car to the shop for them to flash/chip your ecu(computer).... but the APR chip seems great, no issues

There are no chips you can install yourself. You have to have a local shop flash the ECU or send in your ECU to one of the big companies, or if your like me, buy a spare ECU to send in and get flashed.
