Carista is an app, available for both Android and iOS, that allows you to read and clear fault codes on all Audi ECUs, as well as change customization settings. Carista connects to your car via a standard OBD adapter and can communicate with all modules in the car. This includes ABS, airbag, navigation, central electronics, etc.

The app itself is free to download, but if you want to use the VAG-specific features, you have to buy the Pro Package as an in-app purchase through Google Play. It costs $19.99 (USD) and gives you unlimited lifetime access to all customizations and diagnostics for all currently-supported models. Compare that to going to a dealer ONCE or buying expensive cables/software and lugging a laptop around. There's no limit to the number of vehicles or phones that you can use this device with, as long as they're compatible with the Carista app.

We have also developed our own Carista OBD adapter compatible with both Android and iOS, so you don't have to buy a new one if you change operation systems or worry that you have bough a defective or fake one it won't work. The Carista OBD adapter works with other apps on Android as well: Torque, DashCommand, etc. It does NOT work with other apps on iOS due to the proprietary communication that Apple forces on us.
