Headlight Relay Problem
Hello everyone! I have a 99.5 2.8 A4 and im having some problems with my headlights. My lowbeams/foglights went out the other night, and All that i can come up with is relay. I dont know anything about relays though, and I was wondering if someone could help me out with how to look/check if it is a relay, and which one it is/where it is? That would be really helpful.
I have browsed through a few of the old posts and I havent found anything helpful, PLEASE HELP ME!

UPdate... I found the Headlight/Foglight relay I will post pictures later, it is Relay Number 387, part number as follows 4B0 919 471 There are a couple of relays that followed in sequence along the years that apparently are "better" or something. But I dont think it makes much of a difference which one you use. To find the relay on a 2.8 A4 just take of the fuse panel cover, and look behind the Metal Brace. It is a black relay but you should be able to see the white lettering on it. The dealership will run you about 120 dollars on it but you can get it on ebay for 20. Now I still have not recieved the part but when I get it, I will post detailed instructions on how to replace it.
My Brake lights are both out now, and I recently did a Tailight housing swap, to a chromed out tailights. Might that have someting to do with it? any body? I think these problems might be related but I dont know... Has anyone experienced the same problem? If so could I get some more info.
