The VCDS software license and enthusiast's interface you need to turn any PC with an available USB Port into a powerful diagnostic tool for MK5/MK6/MK7 based Golf Technology Models.

Low-cost interface designed exclusively for use on cars based on Mk5/MK6/MK7 Golf technology. This interface is not backwards compatible with older cars using K-lines for diagnostics, and it is not compatible with some Audi models. See the Micro-CAN technical page for a list of compatible models.

This system does *not* include vehicle diagnosis support via the telephone. Live telephone technical support for vehicle diagnosis is available separately. One year of such support is included with any of our Pro-Kits.

System Requirements:

A 1 GHz Pentium-III (or AMD equivalent) with 256 MB of RAM and Windows XP or newer (XP, Vista, Windows 7 or 8) with an available USB port. With Windows Vista, 7 or 8, use a machine robust enough to properly support the operating system.


Please make sure your car is compatible with this interface; see the VCDS Compatibility Chart. There will be a $50 handling fee (plus shipping, plus the difference in price) to process an exchange if you order the wrong interface. Use our VIN Product Match app found in the Menu box to the left to check.

No software or printed documentation is shipped with this product. Software and documentation must be downloaded from the Ross-Tech web site.
