My fuel door wont pop open, any suggestions on how to get it open? Running low on gas please help!!

 

It's one of two things:

1. UNLOCK your doors. When your doors are locked, so, too, is the fuel door.
or
2. There is no mechinism to "pop" open the door... You hafta push on one of the ends to get the other end to swivel open.

 

Usually there is a manuel release somewhere in the trunk area near the fuel filler door. Check the owners manuel, it will be in there. Also check to make sure the fuses are all ok. Other than that you may have to tear apart the trunk trim to physically remove the lock mechanism. Look on the bright side thou, once you have it apart all you have to do is replace the part.
