I have a '96 Audi A4 Quattro with 109,000miles and it doesn't start. I have a budget set aside to get the car fixed and I would love to get this car on the road but it would also be good to know if it is a lost cause.

A little info:
I have taken it to a private mechanic and the local Audi dealership both said they can't figure it out. With the battery full it turns over perfectly but it will not start because there is no power going from the coils to the spark plugs, there is no spark. I bought the car last year from a friend and before that it sat for about 2 years. I've had the timing belt set, all sensors double checked by the dealership, fuel pump replaced, fuel lines checked (good pressure), replaced ECU (with used one), new ignition control module, new ignition coils, checked all valves (none bent) and maybe 1 or 2 other things I cant think of right now all done hoping to find the problem. The only engine code it throws is Cam/Crank Timing but I've had everyone tell me they are on plus how can that account for no spark?

I don't know what else to do, I got $2k set aside to fix it but I'm tired of wasting it on sucky mechanics who can't fix this thing.
