2005 all Road 4.2

Have spent a lot of time and money and cannot figure this out . I have also taken a garden hose and wash my whole engine underside of car and everything about the interior and I cannot get it to reproduce itself but is soon as I drive in the rain or go to the car wash I'm on the side of the road in the throttle pedal won't work

It could be coming up from underneath in the wheel well on the passenger side. Water pressure on those car washes is a LOT more than a water hose. It could be shooting some water up from underneath that normally would not happen during regular rainy conditions. Kind of hard to diagnose without seeing it though.

The dash lights up like a Christmas tree and the code says replace throttle pedal replaced it and it didn't change anything it was still showing the code and while we are looking at it and messing with it about 45 minutes later the code mysteriously disappeared and it only comes up while it's raining if the car sitting out of the rain for an hour it stop so obviously something is getting wet but I have soaked my car from head To toe more than once and can't find it
