I've kind of browsed through trunk related issues and haven't found the exact same problem I'm having. When using the latch on the inside, it unlocks fine. Using the key a manual unlocking it opens it just fine as well. My problem is that I can't unlock it and pop it open with my key fob. It was working fine until a few days ago. I left it open and tried to unlock it and I noticed the latch does try to unlock but that little arm on the right just doesn't slide over all the way for it to unlock. It seems to stop about 3/4 of the way which keeps the trunk locked. I sprays some WD40 on it and it still doesn't work. Any tips on how to fix this or would I need a whole new trunk latch. Oh yeah, the button on the inside of the driver's side door doesn't unlock it either. Thanks..
