Climate Control Flap Motor
2000 A8L
Hi Everyone,
I just noticed over the past 2 weeks that my cabin was getting awfully hot. No matter what temperature I set (in Auto Mode) the heat would come out as if it was set on 80. I've also been hearing some sort of electric "clicking" sound from the dash. Anyway, I'm reading on how to pull the codes off the system. Looks like (not 100% sure) it's a flap motor problem. The symptoms and the code seems to point in that direction. Anyone on the board experience the same thing? Is this something that could be a DIY or definately a Stealer item to handle? Any input on this would be appreciated.

RE: Climate Control Flap Motor
Sometimes the motors loose theyre position. You may be able to correct you condition by running basic settings with a vag com. However theres also the possiblity that the flap itself is broken. In that case you would need to replace it.
