Just letting any a6 ownersknow that there is an important recall for re-wiring the headlight harness so it doesn't catch fire. It used to be the JC recall which was just some felt tape and a plastic thingy but cars out in the east cost keep burning to the ground so get your a6 in to the dealer asap! i got a 98 a6 2.8 . . how do i know if this was done yet? i bought it a year ago

 

We only started doing the recall for about a month so i doubt it has been done. If ya give the dealer your VIN number it should pop up on thier screen saying its needed, other than that you should get something in the mail soon.
