Multiforum Audi Search Tool - Excellent Resource
#12
I recently started doing my own maintenance on my b5. Growing up my dad NEVER had a new car. He never even had a newISH car. So i always watched.
Just started doing my own stuff and need lots of help.
This is the only forum of which I'm a member but I search most of the big ones. And most of the time forum search engines blow goats.
Fortunately I'm a java programmer
I threw up this google custom search to search all the sites listed below at once.
Sorry about the ads but to my knowledge google won't let you have a custom search without ads unless you pay $100. Anyway check it out and let me know what you think or if I should add any other sites!
Have fun and good luck!

Taking on your own maintenance for a B5 is a positive step for several reasons. It can save money on labor costs, provide a deeper understanding of your car's mechanics, and empower you with basic troubleshooting skills. However, ensure you have the necessary tools, follow proper safety protocols, and reference reliable guides or manuals. For complex issues, consider professional assistance. Overall, DIY maintenance fosters a sense of ownership and connection with your B5, making it a rewarding and educational experience.
