Hello,

I recently bought a project car (2008 TT Coupe 3.2) that has been wrecked and I'm trying to replace the rear seat belts since they are locked up. I can't figure out how to unplug the wire from the belt tensioner.
Does anybody know how to do this?

yellow plug pulls up away from the white plug then pry the white plug out of the tensioner....of course battery disconnected so you don't blow yourself up ;]

I think both seatbelt tensioners have done their job, they are locked up. That's why I would like to replace the seatbelts and have this connector issue. But of course you are right, the battery is already disconnected.
When I pull on the yellow plug, are there any latches I need to pry on?
