New catalytic Converter or bypass/test pipe?

Default New catalytic Converter or bypass/test pipe?

My Cat just went out and I am debating whether or not to just replace the cat (expensive...) or just use that money and buy a test pipe, while also buying an exhaust that will work with it. What are some good brands for each and your opinions on it?

hmm, I'm retarded. My car is the 2002 a4 3.0 manual.

replace with oem. a downpipe wont give u all that much gain on that motor. its n/a and not all that big
