2004 B6 A4 Cabriolet Tray & Cupholder Removal
Hey all,
I've looked all over and can't find anyone giving information on how to remove the coin tray & cupholder from the dash in the A4 Cabriolet... our cars have a different dash & vents than the regular A4 - where you all have rectangular vents and a piece of trim above these items, we have just the dashboard and circular vents.
1) The top storage unit - mine doesn't work at all. One side is completely broken, and the other side doesn't budge. Would like to replace or remove it... Doesn't look possible with the dash in place.

2) The coin tray (drivers side) is broken. I'd like to either fix or replace it. It has the ESP button attached to the left of it (and no matter what I do, it won't come out) I know the clips are on the top & bottom of the button, and it should just slide out, but it doesn't budge. Without that, I can't get to the left upper clip that holds the coin tray... Don't want to take the dash apart for something so silly.
For such a nice car, Audi really cheaped out on the trim and items... If this was my main car, I'd be pretty pissed! Luckily it's a summer car for fun...
Thanks all.
