A4 B6 (2002) loose part behind the dash
First of all hello! Sadly my first post on these forums is nothing better than plea for help. Ive repaired many things in the first month of my ownership of the car but this one i cant find any info on how to fix.
During cornering = high lateral G i can hear something sliding left and right somewhere behind the dashboard. It sounds like a bolt or something, not that it matters much though. The sound is coming from somewhere like center left part maybe directly behind the instrument cluster (left=driver side). It also sounds like it travels some distance (id guess at ~10cm, maybe 20)before hitting the left and right borders of whatever its stuck in. I have already tried removing the knee panel but found nothing that could be the problem here.
Is there any fix for this, hopefuly not to complicated as im reluctant to tear this gem of a car apart (although im handy with screwdriver im afraid of breaking something due to missed bolts etc). Im not likely to be the first with such a problem and would be very grateful for any info.
Many thanks in advance!
