Hi All.

About 8 months ago, I bought a 97 A6 from an older fellow who seemed like an honest guy. I drove the car around for about 2 weeks and then all the gremlins that he jury rigged to make it look good started to come out.

1. The car overheats constantly
2. the Coolant temp sensor switch was shot
3. some sort of actuator attached to my throttle body was temp rigged to work, but broke and the car started to idle at 4000 RPM.
4. The front brakes seized up and were gone within 2 weeks. (new rotors and pads for the front)
5. The A/C stopped working almost right away
6. The left balljoint seems to be a bit loose.

Anwyay, I'm tackling the problems one by one. I'll be posting questions in the appropriate forums about each problem
