Need to purchase turbos
|
I have an '04, a6 quattro and need to replace the turbos. Does anyone know where I can get new or used from?

Call Nick at TurboConcepts.com (sales@turboconcepts.com). He can get (or custom build) you any turbo you want (new or as new rebuild, with core or without core). With the 2.7T your stocks are K03. When the K03 on my 1.8T went out, I described to him what characteristics I like (mid range power, not interested in high RPM peak HP), he used my housing, modified it and put some great, modified compressor and turbine wheel in. My ECU hat a "TAP Stage II, 12.5 psi" chip in it. Without any other modifications, I now get 10 psi (stock unchipped max boost is 7 psi) at 2200 RPM, 18.5 psi at 4000, 10 psi at 6000. All for a few $ more than a rebuild K03 (already MUCH less than a factory K03) would have been.
Or ask him for as-new K04.
Since I hooked up with Nick, he is my source for ALL turbo related questions (currently putting together a custom T3T4 with him).

turboconcepts.com didnt seem to exist.. any suggestions for another place to get a turbo. im in north texas and need a new one since i just blew mine. thanks
