Default S/C questions

i have a 97 A4 2.8L Quattro, formerly a dsm owner and i know that usually to run a turbo or a s/c compression should be like 9.0:1 or well at least with a turbo set up....now with the 2.8l V6 its a 10.0:1...would it be much of a issue on these motors to S/C it and run...8-10psi on stock internals or will it blow up?

who makes kits for the car, whats a good exhaust system upgrade for the 2.8, im sure there is a limited selection being its N/A......and what would i have to do about the ECU,Fuel System, and would i need a standalone to run a S/C?

Look up PES. They make a bolt on SC for the A4 2.8 litre. I think the max boost on stock internals that they recommend is 10 pounds too. It boosts the motor close to 300 BHP and 260 TQ.

Nope, not for his car - only the 30v (98+) engines. Read the sticky posts in the B5 A4 section - they'll answer every single question you're asking.
