RE: is anyone scared of dying
ALL people fear death one way or another, its like hard wired into your brain.
You can be "trained" however to ignore that fear or put it out of your mind, thats called brainwashing.

RE: is anyone scared of dying
I don't so much fear death -it's hard to be afraid of such a great unknown - but I do fear the possible causes of death.
I mean the idea of a slow, painful death is scary to me but more for the suffering than death itself.

Don't fear death, not religious, the thought just doesnt bother me. If it did I wouldn't be effective at work.

RE: is anyone scared of dying
From a religous standpoint. I am not to fear death, but only my creator. To be an unbeliever in the Religion Iexist inmakes one dead in the eyes of my Lord. Why fear that which is inevitable. It would be more prudent to accept the inevitable consequence of life and accept divine preordainments. If you do not believe there is a GOD, you shall find how untrue that entire belief is. Whether in this life or the hereafter. One way or another. People are not religous for no reason whatsoever.
But to answer your question, no I am not afraid of death. I fear becoming an unbeliever. There was actually a survey conducted that showed more people were afraid of spiders than they are death. Kinda funny, huh? But do not quote me on this as I heard of word of mouth and do not have source (link to actual survey nor whom conducted it).
Peace!

RE: is anyone scared of dying
I am not. I just want to live for another 60+ years! If you think about it, life it not even a blink of an eye compaired to our eternity. Eternity is just very... forever, it'shard to imagine, but I know it's going to be a good time
I'm in the process of reading a book : The Purpose Driven Life. It's a pretty wild book imo.
