cold air intake makes my audi 90 overheat....why?

btw, saw a thread not long ago of a cai suckin in some water a bending a rod

 

firstly. post more info. what kinda motor??
but due to the fact that a 5 cylinder audi 90 has CIS and you cant easily put a CAI onto it its probably a 12v V6.
and due to the fact that you sound like you have no idea what your talking about. you probably installed a supposed "cold air intake" when in reality its a filter on the end of an intake pipe thats inside the engine bay and in fact does not get cold air and the stock airbox is much much better.
