You can laugh, I do now, however back then, my first car, I was devestated after all that work I did w/ my dad....
here's the funny part, my license plates said "PINK BUG"...........after the fire was put out the guy I was dating at the time, walks up to me holding the rear plate, he says "it's just a BUG now"........the PINK part of the plate was completely burned up..........just a bug.......hahaha poor poor lil Bug...........
also funny. the guy who installed the new engine denied any fault, he said he'd refund the cost of the engine, which was what $500? after we put new chrome, running boards, carpet, seats, convertible top, painted it............my dad had it towed to his "VW Shop" and dropped in the middle of his lawn, all burned up and blowed up for all of his customers to see what good work he did............

not mine as well but close... 78 Chevy Nova. 26,000 miles mint condition till some jekoff keyed it all the way down the driver side chipping the paint off.

Damn, this would be good. I just find a picture of it on line. I even searched "turd boiler" and nothing. 1982ish Mercury Cougar wagon, WITH the fake wood panel sides. Oh, she was a beaut.
