well im not 100% on buying the car, and i have an odd feeling it will be a waste of money to do it(the carfax), plus i know people have unlimited accounts so i figured id ask. its a 98 a4 quattro 2.8L 5-speed, 111,000 miles, sunroof doesn't work and it looks to be repainted. tan leather, interior door trim peices are worn out and leather on drivers seat is cracked on bottom. i wanted to find a 1.8t for something around 5k but this seems to be a good deal, any suggestions. they want $3,995 for it.

carfax doesn't mean s hit. A car for less than 4k shouldn't be a car to even bother to get a report on. If it runs, it's ok..

i realize that, but i want to keet the car for a bit, and dont want to have a car thats gonna fall apart in 5000 miles. i personally would want one if i could get one on any vehicle. plus this is my only vehicle if i were to get it, as i would sell my current one
.

also do you guys think that this is a good deal for the car, despite whats wrong with it.
