those things are sooo damn stupid...and they're EVERYWHERE in the east bay (mostly oakland)

 

I've never heard one in real life, but I bet that is annoying as hell, don't cops write these people noise violation tickets? Hell, they do if anyone has modified exhaust down in cali.

 

nope, this is in cali....i think the reason they can't give tickets for them is because they're not actually against the law...the noise is very high pitched and annoying, but i don't think it reads very high on whatever device they use to measure the decibel level...in any case, they don't get tickets [:@]

 

Then, if I were you, I'd drive to Oakland, find a nice abandoned building to post atop an accurate 30.06, and start popping off rounds in busy intersections at anything that whistles.
