Default when should you service your RS5

I have recently purchased my first ever RS5 and it is a brilliant car, however I have been told by certain people I must always change the oil...? Is this correct? I have just done a service as the cars service indication light just came on so that’s when I did it. This isn’t a car that I am driving every day it’s more of a weekend car, can someone help me please

Typically the oil is changed every 3K to 4K miles. As long as you change the oil when the service indication light comes on you should be okay. I would recommend opening a dialog with a local independent tech and/or a dealer advisor to discuss what they forsee as maintenance items to pay close attention to.
