Yeah seems like it is the number it got off the production line, not the number it got when it came into the US?

Maybe they worked all the bugs out by the time they got over 100,000!

Maybe it has to do with the model..like 00-01 is one line, 01.5 is another line and 02 is a difffernt line?

 

So everywhere it says my car is an '01. But my number is A020761.

What's the number right before the "A"?
