Default Carbon Fiber Hood Yay or Nay?

I picked up a 2000 nogaro blue s4, but i need to replace the hood. I can't decide to get a new oem hood and paint it to match the car or if I should get an oem style carbon fiber hood and just run the raw carbon look. Car is stock otherwise. I plan to put some lowering springs in in a week or so. I am looking for opinions on the carbon fiber hood look.

unless you go white don't. IMO white with black hood and roof is dank.

Depends on what look you're going for. If you're throwing on 19's and tinting tail lights and running a Stage 1 chip then just go OEM painted. But if you're actually gonna mod the engine, throwing on some lightweight 17 or 18's, Stage III and stuff like that then you can pull it off because the weight reduction does help. CF can be pulled off on any car with *****, but if it's slow as hell it's just ricey and poser

I say go with CF hood, and have it painted to match the car.

Avoid the riced look, but you get the benefits of a weight reduction.

This is what I would do, so it's just my 2 cents. The less attention I draw to myself WITHOUT the accelerator, the better.

I love carbon fiber. Bumpers, fenders, doors, hood, trunk, roof, mirrors, airbox, engine covers, trim, seats its all good to me. I love the way it looks, i love the way it feels and i love how light it is. I just dont like the cost.

Get the carbon hood and paint it, you get the weight reduction but you dont look like an *** and get made fun of
