Tiptronic Owners... Do you change your transmission fluid?

Tiptronic Owners... Do you change your transmission fluid?
Call me old fashioned, but I just can't accept the official Audi stance that our transmissions are filled for the life of the vehicle. I was on the audipages.com website, which admittedly is an A8 based site, but some of the pics I saw of the metal build-up on the magnets in the transission oil pan and the color of the used transmission oil just looked terrible.
I'm coming up on 50k on my 04 B6, and I intend to change my filter and fluid. Does anyone know if the B6 cars have the issue that some of the A8 cars have where the exhaust interferes with access to the transmission pan bolts?

YES, ABSOLUTELY! I changed mine at 60kmi. It was nasty, it smelled bad, and was almost black. The car shifts smoother & seams more crisp after.
But it's a messy job, & kind of expensive for all the fluid & filter kit. It should be "flushed" the first time, this is filling, running, draining, repeat, till the fluid looks nice.

I have an a4 2008 2.0t with triptronic transmission. I currently have 52,300 miles and i am interested in a fluid exchange.
I would like know how to get this done and does it have removable filter in it or is there just a screen in there.
The audi service manual shows no maintainance recommendations for the transmission. Would like some feedback on this please.

Nothing wrong with changing the fluid regularly from the get go. But I have see cases were people who don't change the fluid after a long period of time and then exchange it experience some transmission slip issues.
The old dirty fluid actually is better for a transmission that might be developing a slipping issue. Changing it will make it more apparent.
So if you're going to change the fluid do it regularly not every 100k
We have service kits available below.

I have a friend here in Finland who is a car mechanic, he exchanged the fluids for me. There are two ways to do this:
1. flushing, where you need to let a lot of fluid pass through the transmission before putting the final fluid and filter in. This is recommended way to do it.
2. let all the old fluid come out, add new fluid in (don't change filter yet). Drive something like a 1000km. Exchange the fluid again and this time change the filter also.
