b7 is the chassis code for your year A4. I'm a 2001 S4 and have a b5 chassis with a 2.7tt v6 engine.

Why did you prefer your method in stead of a flush which requires the removal of nothing just hooking up to the transmission coolant lines?
Do you own aquattro and if you do did you replace th rear end fluid?

I actually did the flush as well as the filter/pan change. I'm at 90,000 miles and have done it twice so far. I have done the rear diff twice as well. I use all redline fluids.

I am currently at 53,000 miles and i want to do something. How did you perform the flush on the tranny? Let me know if you would the exact redline products you used for
The tranny and rear end. I have the 6 speed triptronic tranny 2008 let me know what is compatible for my situation if you would.

i took it to a specialist for the flush. i didnt mean to mislead you. the pan/filter and diff i changed myself.

the write up i posted includes the diy flush, though.

here are the fluids i used:

Tranny:
ATF (Redline-D4)-Automatic Trans Fluid (Tiptronic)-Quart - JH Motorsports Inc. - -- JHM. Shifting

diff:
Gear Oil for Rear Diff 75w90(Synthetic) Red Line 75w90 -Quart - JH Motorsports Inc. - -- JHM.

the diff fluid seems to be listed for your car, but there isnt a listing for your tranny.

Check out ecstuning.com they will probably have the tranny fluid.

Default 166k

I have an 05 3.2 A6 and never touched the fluid. Shifts like it's brand new. 166k miles. I heard 5-8 had some trannys that weren't programmed correctly and will shift hard and will feel jerky. These should have the fluid changed to a certain type of fluid and be software updated. I must have the good one. Mine is also Tiptronic
