howdy! This problem is a hard one to describe, but I will try my best. I have an '05.5 with 38k miles. It is stock other than a K&N cold air intake and a Miltek catback. Anyway, when I am under heavy acceleration and I shift to the next gear, there seems to be a hesitation (maybe .5-.75 sec.) for the gear to really engage and start biting. Furthermore, if I'm, let's say in 3rd gear cruising in the mid-rpm range (3500-4000rpm), and nail it, I get that same hesitation. Once it grabs, IT GOES, but there is an annoying hesitation.

Maybe you guys could educate me and entertain a theory of mine. I suspect this car has a dual clutch...could one of them be sick? I had a '04 S4 that was set up the same way and this was not a problem. Other than this, the car is perfect. Any insight would be helpful!!
