ko3 to ko4 swap
well after my second set of ko3's im going to swap to ko4's. right now i can only afford the new turbos plus the inlet pipping to hook up to my stock IC's. is there anything else that i NEED to make this swap work(ie. injectors, headers, down pipes). and do i need to make any mods under the hood to get the bigger ko4's to fit?

i think you should be fine. Finish the stage 3 upgrades later on when you can afford it. The car will probably run like stock, maybe a little stronger but boost is going to be limited to whatever the programming in the computer is. I wouldn't mess with turning up the boost until I got the RS4 MAF and injectors and fuel pump. But K04's should be more reliable than K03's.

right now im running a GIAC tune and EVOMS diverter valves and nuespeed exaust...so my car is running a little better than a stock S4...right now ACH Tuning is having a wicked deal on KO4's...$2050 shipped! this is at least $200 cheaper than any place ive found...now add on like $600 for the inlet pipping and hardware kit and you have KO4's in your S4...well for the parts anyway...BTW...my KO3's i had on my car i got from a guy on the forums who was selling them as parts because he got KO4's for his car...they leaked oil from day 1...DONT TRUST HIM!!!!! his name is Ronnie and ive tried calling him like 10 times, emailed him and he has not returned my requests once! he F!@$ me! please beware! ill get all his info on this thread later.

ya good deal on the K04's... i got them cheaper shipped
u can add dp's now if you want for a little more power... but to go stage 3 u will need fueling ( bigger injectors,MAF etc) and tune either from a company which includes the fueling(vast, apr, awe asp, jhm, etc) or homebrew.
k04's are a lot more reliable!

does anybody know where i can get a set of inlet pipes for the KO4's so the stock IC's? Ive checked all the usual suspects...VAST, APR, AWE ACHTTUNING and the only place that has them in stock is VAST.
