What to mod next 03 350z vs 05 audi s4
This is kind of a just curious post. I’m trying to decide where to put my next batch of car upgrade money.
On one hand I have a 03 touring 6 speed 350z. It's already pretty modded out; I have every sensible bolt-on you can think of (except exterior mods). All I had left to do was get a conservative Nitrous set up, with a good tune/reflash. Target cost 1800.
Orrr... I have a 05 Audi S4, bone stock. It’s also a 6 speed, but an automatic (with some pretty responsive paddle shifters. I was just going to do some rims, exhaust, and small suspension upgrades. Target cost also 1800.
Whichever route I choose I can do that, and only that for the next year and a half.
What you guys do in this exact situation. Just want to hear some different opinions....

lol.. i kid, i kid.... i do have to say im happy i put my money in my car, dont know if i would in the 350. if i was going to do the nissan right id get a turbo setup or a supercharger.. now that would be nice.. rear driver is nice, but im biased!!

exhaust, headers and some lowering springs on the S. then later water/meth and a tune.
Or some street glow and purge valve to go with your nito kit on the Z. just kidding. not a big fan of nitrous. what bolt-ons do you have on the Z? Racing buckets, a wheel and half-cage are a nice upgrade.

Interestingly.. as far as 350's having a "ricer" reputation.. I would say between the two vehicles, s4 and 350.. if you had to choose one that was relient on food for propulsion.. its def the S4. I would go as far as to say it is a "potato-er" haha.
Seriously though.. I think the build quality of the 350 is much better than the S4. My S4 has had all the issues... broken window regulators (2 windows), leaky valve gasket, bad control arm bushings.... And little things just fall apart (like my homelink system in the visor). Meanwhile, the Z has no issues....
With that being said that is still something just plain cool about the S4...
