What clutch is best for the B5 (2001) S4?
Hey so im in the market for a new clutch...ive narrowed it down to a couple brands but would like some input from the audi community before i make my decision...
My 2001 S4 has APR software, diverter valves, intake, suspension, and hopefully and exhaust soon after i replace the clutch. I am eventually wanting to get it to stage 3 so i would like to get a clutch that will be able to handle any additional power i put into it.
The first clutch im looking at is the LHM lightweight flywheel and clutch combo with B7 RS4 Pressure Plate ( JHM Lightweight Flywheel and Clutch Combo w B7 RS4 Pressure Plate for 2.7t - JH Motorsports Inc. - ). I have yet to find any negative reviews about this clutch but im not sure how long it has been out on the market...
The second clutch im looking at is clutch masters. This is what i mainly have questions about. They have multiple models for the b5 s4 and they're website does not have very detailed information about them other than specs... Ive seen some good reviews about the FX400 series but would like to know which one would work best for me...
The JHM clutch run $1250 and the Clutch Masters Clutches run from $830 to $900.
Any and all input about either of these clutch manufactures or another that you prefer would be greatly appreciated!!
