From everything I've read this model is NOT coming to the U.S. and I think it's due to the U.S. having stricter emissions/gas mileage requirements.

That and the fact that they just didn't sell. Americans like flashy performance cars. A car as stealth as an RS6 just won't get you noticed (unless they hear the exhaust and engine note).

Strangely enough, the BMW M5 sells very well, and the Mercedes AMGs are selling very well, too. I see them all over California.
I do see S4 and RS4 quite often, too.
Not so many RS6 though.

I think the 2003-2004 RS6 has more aggressive look than the new one.
