Default B5 2.7T oiling

I have a highly modified 2.7T( 480 HP ) B5 chassis that is used only on the track. Besides an oil cooler does anyone know of other upgrades to the oiling system such as high pressure high volume pump, accusump system....? tks

Default oiling system

I haven't heard of anything. The accusump seems like a great idea for any wet sump car on the track. I have used it on many different race cars with great results (except a mini copper 1275, blew up every event at 9000 rpm, guess it can't handle the revs HA!) Run a good oil. We tested 9 different oils on a 650hp dry sump. Heated them all to 300 degrees and Amsoil won by 1hp over mobil 1. Significant, no, but when you need that last hp, it is!

I am not a fan of high pressure oil pumps. They tend to rob power and mangle drives. I would much rather see a high volume pump (if available)

At the very least, blueprint your pump and watch your oiling passages for flash or other casting/machining problems.

Best of luck
