Never buy an auto warranty from a used car dealer specially Auto Source of NJ..I spent over 3,000 dollars to get the best package which would of covered almost everything electronically and mechanically, but every time there was something wrong with my car they always found a way to get around from covering the cost.
Recently there was something wrong with my car and a claim was opened, and they asked for all past maintenance history including receipts and miscellaneous stuff. And again they didnt want to cover for the cost of fixing my car. They said they dont have enough proof of my oil changes and other bulls@$%..They find every little excuse not to approve you or cover the full cost they always got an excuse why they wont cover it..
The times they did cover for the cost was always a partial, and never paid in full..
These auto warranties are a scam and i truly feel robbed for all of my money...
might i add that i spent over 3,200 at the time the i bought the warranty and in total coverage they have only covered 300 dollars at the most in total claims and fixes...

i made the mistake of buying a warranty with my car. i called them after learning of the problems our cars have with timing belts and they said that belts are not covered so if it failed and the engine was destroyed as a result it would not be covered.
this is how they make money.
the pages that the warranty was printed on had a fainter print on the back of the pages. i think this was to make it look like it was just the print from the other side showing through the paper. thats where all the stuff about how to get a refund and their legal obligations were written.
i was able to get a partial refund based on time that i had the warranty but even that was a pain in the butt because the dealer "lost" my paper work.
