Hard-Wire DIY ??

I can't find any DIY hard wire for a Passport radar detector. I see some for V1's and others, but it looks like the kits for V1 and some other brands are different than what comes in my Passport hard-wire kit.. any help on this ? this is what i got.. http://www.amazon.com/Escort-Direct-...7381949&sr=8-4

It's sooooo easy! Just find a power wire in your dome light that comes on with the ignition on. They should all be the same as far as brand. It's a pretty easy splice into a positive lead. Just make sure there's only power with the key in the on position. You domt want power to your radar detector with the car off
