I just installed my mobridge unit into my onstar 2004 a8 and it works great. Installation is easy and I used VAG COM to program the gateway and control head modules. The unit works just like a factory one , mmi control and steering wheel controls all function great. Finally I have hands free phone and 8 gigs of music and retained the cd player as well. For onstar a8 's I feel this is the ultimate conversion for a reasonable cost . If anyone is contemplating an ipod or ipod/bluetooth conversion this is the way to go.

It cost me 799 cdn for ipod blue tooth unit, about 30 min. to install and about 45 to program. The ipod unit is cheaper. I am amazed at how good it works
