I have a 2004 1.8L Roadster. 40000 miles. The temp light often comes on right when I start up the car. If I turn it off and start it up again, it is fine. It has never come on while driving. Bad sensor?

What does the manual say about it? What does Service say about it? I'm guessing it is doing a self-check, and it's normal, since you didn't say this has just started occuring.
trip computer should flash 'OK', check engine, airbag, abs idiot lights flash on for a second every time you start it. Shouldnt be any temp type stuff.
